Taiwan BJJ pulled off a great showing in the 2009 Pan-Asian Grappling International Tournament, held on May 2-3, 2009 in Manila, Philippines. Taiwan BJJ came away with the 3rd place team trophy in the gi competition and 2nd place in the no-gi event with having sent only seven competitors to the tournament.
